Meghaduta

मेघदूत हे कालिदासाने लिहिलेलं एक उत्तम काव्य आहे. कालिदास सर्व काळातील महान संस्कृत कवींपैकी एक आहे. मेघदूतात वर्णन केले आहे की एका यक्षाला त्याच्या स्वामीने, कुबेराने एका दुर्गम प्रदेशात, रामटेकला एका वर्षासाठी शिक्षा म्हणून पाठवले होते. त्याने मेघाला आपल्या पत्नीला प्रेमाचा संदेश देण्यास सांगितले. यक्ष मेघाला सांगतो की या मार्गावर तुला काय काय दिसणार आहे. असा रामटेक ते अलका नगरीचा (हिमालय) प्रवास, ही निव्वळ कल्पना सुद्धा सर्वांना भारावून टाकते.

Meghadūta is a lyric poem written by Kālidāsa, one of the greatest Sanskrit poets of all times. It describes how a Yakṣa, who had been sent by his master to a remote region (Ramtek) for a year as a punishment, asked a cloud to take a message of love to his wife.
We bring the entire narration in the form of 10 session learning experience mentored by Dr Sucheta Paranjpe, an eminent Sankrit scholar with 45 plus years of experience in this field. She conjures the imagination of Yaksha through her lucid narration while at the same time introducing the participants to the intricacies of Sanskrit language in a most simplified manner.
- Participants will be given the session videos which would be accessible for 2 months.
- The sessions would be at 7:30 PM every day(except for Wednesday and Sunday) for one hour.
